OUR MISSION

Movement: We believe an active body is a happy body. At Echols Fitness, we offer eight complementary fitness and wellness experiences — from strength training and injury prevention to self-defense and contrast therapy.  

Discovery: At the core of how we understand wellness is the commitment to provide paths of change, growth, and discovery, be it excitement for a new fitness experience or a deeper understanding of the self. Whether your version of wellness is a weekly sparring session with a mixed martial arts trainer or meditation in the open air pavilion, we are committed to providing the possibility for you to leave each session changed. 


 

 

Our Wellness
PHILOSOPHY

Wellness is often understood as the balance between healthiness and happiness. However, more often than not, wellness becomes solely defined by healthiness alone, leaving it feeling beneficial, but also unattainable, stringent, and even joyless. That’s why our wellness philosophy has an intentional bias for happiness. Like other fitness centers, we have the healthy aspects covered — strength training, cardio, balance, and flexibility. The Echols difference is we take to heart the “and” that separates “healthy and happy.” We never want to forget that the wellness journey is as personal as one’s own happiness.
